ITALTILE - OUR PROUD HISTORYITALTILE was established in 1969 and today is positioned as a Fashion Retailer of exclusive ranges of ceramic tiles, bathware and related products, servicing the premium end of the market.
ITALTILE is a division of The Italtile Limited Group, which has been listed on The Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 1988. FRANCHISEE PROFILEThe Group is managed according to a set of core values: iIntegrity and transparency; a hands on approach to business; creating partnerships to promote entrepreneurial spirit; and a passion for customer service. In this light, ITALTILE is very selective in the appointment of its Franchisees. The success of the company depends on the day to day commitment and hands on approach of the Franchisee - it is thus a prerequisite that every ITALTILE franchise is run by an owner / manager. Preference will always be given to an individual applicant. However a Franchisee Group will be considered if the operating partner has not less than a 40% interest in the Franchise. An ideal ITALTILE Franchisee will have a proven entrepreneurial track record and an ability to maximise the market potential of the business. The franchisee will also display an innate sense of fashion and design. The Candidate must be committed to the long hours required of a retailer and be a passionate hands on operator, dedicated to a strong service ethic. An ability to motivate staff is important, as is the need to be innovative, proactive and responsive to changing market needs. As part of a broader organisation, the franchisee must be prepared to uphold the values of the Italtile Group, understand the need to adhere to the operating standards of the brand, and share in the value that participation in reward and decision making at all levels of an organisation enhances its profitability. Having the financial capability, a 60% debt and 40% equity ratio is the minimum requirement. THE ITALTILE PACKAGEITALTILE provides support to its Franchise network in critical business areas both before and after the opening of the Franchise. The group will assist franchisees in the following key areas: operations; training; distribution; marketing; and information technology. Communication is vital to the organisation and regular conferences and meetings are hosted by the company. For more information:
